Does it then not make sense to use rails on Enyo if you can use rails more successfully on another ship? Furthermore should you use blasters even if they are worse because harpy can use rails better? Sorry mate that kind of reasoning doesn't make sense to me.
Even if Harpy is better with rails than Enyo then this thread is about Enyo and Shayla has done some research on it and says that rails are better and since I don't know any better I'm gonna take her word for it for a while at least. __________ Capacitor research |

I'm gonna have to disagree that the Harpy is better at using rails than the Enyo. That 100% extra range at maxed skills is putting you over 11km range when shooting antimatter, which is a bad thing since you won't be able to web and/or scramble, meaning your target is free to fly to wherever it wants. Even crows stay within those 7,5 km to be able to scramble.
Even if Harpy has higher optimal then it doesn't mean that it hits worse than a ship that has lower optimal within it's optimal given it has the same tracking. Of course Enyo gets tracking bonus where harpy gets damage bonus so Enyo has better tracking.
Basically what am saying when you increase your optimal by skills or modules (even implants) then you don't start to hit worse within your optimal. Lets say you increase your optimal from 5km to 10km then you hit as well before and after in 2.5km given that your tracking didn't change. __________ Capacitor research |

Just making sure it's a common misconception that accuracy falloff works both ways.
It all depends on what you are doing I love optimal range bonus when npc-ing but I guess tracking would be more useful in pvp. __________ Capacitor research |
